The technology is developing rapidly worldwide, but the number of tritium applications remains relatively constant. Therefore, the main focus for this specific micro-optic is looking for new application fields and new markets to develop.
The light fiber optic system
trigalights are used in optical systems for lighting. Such a system is called a "micro-optical day and night point illumination system." The trigalight is coupled to a fluorescent light fiber by an optical connection.
Current applications of the product

The light from the trigalight can be conducted for a short distance (about 2–10 cm) in the light fiber and is provided at the end of the light fiber as a small illuminated point (approx. Ø0.02mm – Ø3mm).

In bright environments, however, the light emitted just by the trigalight might not be sufficient, which is why a fluorescent light fiber is used to collect the ambient light and conduct it to the same small illuminated point at the end of the light fiber.

trigalights are typically used to illuminate things in applications where there's no space for any external power source. The system can only be seen from shorter distances and not to illuminate objects far away. The intensity will not be sufficient to use it as a laser for, e.g., cutting things. Please be aware that trigalights glow with a very low intensity and cannot be used to illuminate objects more than 1 cm away.
